The Maryland Wine Festival is the oldest wine festival in Maryland. The festival offers great Maryland wine, good music, fabulous food and unique crafts. And there’s no better place to enjoy all of these things than the beautiful grounds of the Carroll County Farm Museum in Westminster. The 2015 festival also features a Maryland Cheese Pavilion highlighting Free State cheese, which will be open to all visitors.
New this year is the Explorer Pass, is an upgraded ticket that includes General Admission samples PLUS offers sampling from three exclusive wine tents – all from a large, 16-oz tasting glass. The Explorer Pass allows guests to sample over 50 additional premium label wines and gain access to the Hilltop Hangout that has a shaded seating area, winemaker chats, bottled water and private bathrooms.

The 13th Annual Riverside WineFest at Sotterley is coming up on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4th, 2015, celebrating the very best of over 20 Maryland wineries in the breathtaking setting of this National Historic Landmark! This event is all good things rolled into one weekend ~ the wine flows freely, live music is jamming, demonstrations are educational and entertaining, artists are selling their exquisite creations, food is scrumptious, and the 1703 Plantation House Mini Tours and the Colonial Revival Garden Tours are FREE.
