Maryland's wineries offer hundreds of fun-filled events throughout the year. Whether you bring the whole family, a group of friends, or that special someone, events at Maryland's wineries can be both entertaining and educational.

Celebrate the charm and character of an event that has aged to perfection!

Join us for the 20th Annual "Wine in the Woods" on May 19-20, 2012!

Sample Maryland’s finest wines from a souvenir glass; make food purchases from an abundance of high quality, distinctive restaurants and caterers; sharpen your palate by attending wine education seminars; enjoy exceptional works offered by invited artists and crafts persons; and revel in continuous live entertainment on two stages.

The grounds have been expanded and include Merriweather Post Pavilion. Saturday's ticket includes lawn admission to a concert at Merriweather following the wine festival.

-$35 advanced purchase; $40 at gate
-Designated Driver $25
-Youth (ages 3-20) $25

Great Grapes! is Baltimore’s premier casual wine tasting with great Maryland wines available for tasting. Take your souvenir tasting glass as you enter the festival and stroll from tent to tent and table to table tasting and sampling the rich Heritage of Maryland vines. As you sip and savor the afternoon, relax in the beautiful green setting of Oregon Ridge Park.

You are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the great LIVE music on the Main Stage. Sit down and learn while the experts give you hands-on demos in the
Gourmet Live! tent with wine and food pairings.

There is even a KID’s Activity Area. Bring the family, bring your friends and take a day to

Join us for the second annual Eat•Drink•Go LOCAL event! This is a pairing of what Southern Maryland region has to offer––think local produce and local wine––with an open air Farmers' Market feel. Browse local produce from regional farmers and enjoy cooking demonstrations -- all the while learning which local wines to pair with local fare.

Entry into the Eat•Drink•Go LOCAL events is free; attendees can shop the market and enjoy chef cooking demonstrations throughout the day.

For $15, attendees can purchase a TASTING PASS and receive a stemless sampling glass and samples of Maryland Wine.

For $25, attendees can purchase a FOOD & WINE PAIRING PASS and receive a stemless sampling glass, samples of Maryland wine, a six bottle carrier (for wine & produce!) and pairings of local ingredients and local wines.

*Maryland Wine Passport program participants who have redeemed at least 8 winery codes receive $5 off Tasting Pass tickets.

This year, please join us at the North East Community Park in the town of North East located in Cecil County, Maryland. The Cecil County Food & Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, July 21 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.. You will now enjoy your wine on the beautiful banks of the Northeast River while listening to blues, jazz and a little swing!

The Maryland Wineries Association is now a partner with the Cecil County Food & Wine Festival. This is very exciting! We feel the partnership with the MWA will do great things for the festival, which will do great things for the county.

The goal of the Festival is to focus on Cecil County; our agriculture, people, food, wineries and talented artists. By partnering with Cecil County Agriculture, Cecil County Tourism and Cecil County Arts Council, we believe this goal will be realized.

Maryland Wine Festival

Take pleasure in Maryland wine with tastings from the wineries, live music, foods from local restaurants, arts and crafts and wine education seminars. Don't miss the presentation of the Governor's Cup Awards announcements on stage each day of the festival.
