Cygnus Wine Cellars
crushed its first grapes in 1995, and became a licensed and
bonded winery in 1996. We are a small family winery located
in the center of Manchester, Carroll County. Manchester's
history dates from the 1700's. Prior to settlement by English
and German families, it was an important crossroads for Native
Americans. Come, visit the Winery and try a "taste"
of our region and its history.
Directions & Maps:
From west: Take I-70 east to Rt. 27 (exit #68); go north approximately
28 miles to Manchester; at Manchester, turn right (south)
onto route 30 (main street); go approximately 2 blocks to
the traffic light; turn left onto York street and then right
onto Long Lane; the winery is about 2 blocks down, on the
left.
From Baltimore and east: Take I-695 to I-795
north to exit 9; take Rt. 30 north to Manchester; just as
you are entering the town, turn right onto Beaver street and
then left onto Long Lane; the winery is about 2 blocks down
on the right.
