The first licensed cidery in Maryland, Distillery Lane Ciderworks offers European-style hard ciders from the juice produced on its 3000-tree specialty orchard. The farm is located in Jefferson, Maryland, approximately an hour outside of Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. The hard cider is carefully blended to achieve the perfect balance of flavors, tannins, and mouth feel, and is the perfect complement to a cheese course, brunch, or light meal. Distillery Lane Ciderworks offers a dry still cider, a dry sparkling cider, a semi-sweet cider, and limited runs of premium ciders—such as Kingston Black—and specialty ciders—such as ice cider. All ciders are estate grown, produced, and bottled.In addition to hard cider, Distillery Lane Ciderworks also offers fresh cider, cider-making classes, apple picking, cider tastings in the tasting room on the farm, and tours of the orchard.
