Crow Wine Cellars is located at the Queenstown Premium Outlets offering premium local wines brought to you by Crow Vineyard & Winery. The store offers visitors tastings of Crow premium local wines produced from the vineyard and state-of-the-art winery at the Crow’s farm in Kennedyville on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Wines can be purchased by the glass, bottle or case and you can also purchase Crow Farm Grass-fed Angus Beef along with other artisan local farm products.
The Vintner’s Select Red Blend is comprised of 46% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petite Verdot. It features a lovely bouquet of cherry, raspberry, coffee, and hints of cinnamon. On the palate there are nice blackberry and currant elements with firm tannins, spice, and a structured acidity that help age this wine nicely over the next 3-5 years.
Our 2014 Chardonnay was created with balance in mind to please all palates. With aromas suggesting peaches, vanilla bean, and pie crust, this harmonious wine has a pleasant and full mouthfeel with juicy apple flavors and well-integrated oak flavors.
Our 2016 Unoaked Chardonnay has aromas suggesting pineapple, seckel pear, stone, and daffodil. It has bright acidity and flavors suggesting honey, pear, persimmon, and lychee.
Our 2016 Sparkling Vidal Blanc is made in using the traditional méthode champenoise. This wine exhibits aromas of nectarine, pear, green apple and baker’s yeast. It has a silky mouthfeel with flavors of lemon zest and honey notes with hints of mango.
Our 2014 Barbera Reserve is crimson colored with aromas suggesting cherries and plums, vanilla bean, and spice. On the palate, it has robust structure and tannin with a smooth finish and is supported by flavors suggesting black cherry, raspberry, and strawberries.
Our 2014 Merlot is rich and bold featuring aromas of black cherry, dried tobacco, rosemary, and dark chocolate. It is well structured with medium tannins, flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and hints of mint in the finish.
Our 2015 Reserve Red Blend is deep in color with aromas suggesting raspberry, white peppercorn, crushed gravel and mint. On the palate, it has good structure and tannin throughout and is supported by flavors suggesting blueberry, plum, vanilla, and espresso.
Our 2014 Barbera has aromas suggesting dark cherry, vanilla, nutmeg, cloves, and almond extract. It is ruby in color and has flavors suggesting dried strawberries, violets, white peppercorn, cinnamon, and plum with a long finish and soft tannins.
Our 2016 Rosé is bright and fresh with aromas suggesting fresh peaches, strawberries, and lilacs. It has a surprising and full mouthfeel supported by flavors suggesting fresh cut cantaloupe and salty minerality that make for a pleasant and lingering finish.
Our 2015 Reserve White Blend was created to share the best of the 2015 harvest with our customers. This wine has fresh and vibrant aromas suggesting lime, tangerine, and floral notes. This wine is full and rounded in the mouth, backed up by flavors suggesting stone-fruit, peach, and melon. This is supported by a creaminess and toasted caramel notes developed through sur-lies aging and battonage.
This lively wine has aromas suggesting pear, elderflower, honeycrisp apple and spring grass. The palate is packed with flavors suggesting rose petals, orange peel, river rock and pineapple.
A floral nose with hints of honeysuckle and crushed flint transition into a weighty mouthfeel with pear elements, lime rind, and a nice acidity.
Our 2016 Vidal Blanc has aromas suggesting fresh pineapple, lilac, confectioner’s sugar, vanilla bean, and melon. The palate has beautiful weight, slight sweetness, fruit flavors suggesting nectarines and peaches, and wonderful balance.
Beautiful aromas of tangerine and lychee on the nose with hints of grapefruit give way to melon, orange, and tangerine with hints of lime zest.
