New Mead Release Party with music by The Dapper DJ!

Orchid Cellar Meadery and Winery

Luscious white peach mead!

Have you tried local artisan mead? Did you know there's an internationally awarded meadery and winery right in Middletown? Come join the team at Orchid Cellar on the winery patio that overlooks the beautiful Middletown Valley for a little shindig to celebrate our newest release: Cobbler. Cobbler is made from golden honey and ripe local white peaches. We use our expertise in chemistry and microbiology to cultivate a healthy fermentation, but not to interfere with it. Then, the most important step occurs, aging. We aged Cobbler for a full 12 months before we deemed it worthy of you taste buds. A tall and slender clear glass bottle shows off the beverage's beautiful amber hue, a natural bar top cork ensures breathability and sustainability, and a clean label showcasing beautiful local art keeps it all looking pretty. *1-5pm* The Dapper DJs will be spinning tunes from the 20's, 30's, and 40's on their antique gramophones, so dancing may breakout. Bring your favorite people and a picnic-- sitting in the grasses along the vineyard is encouraged! If your dog is friendly, bring them too. Our vineyard lab can never get enough play time. Admission is free for all Tastings for those 21+ are $10 and include 2 wines and 4 meads as well as a custom glass to take home.

Wine Up Wednesday (w/ Left of Center)

DeJon Vineyard

Left of Center is a modern rock power duo, that provides high quality musical entertainment, for any occasion, with a wide variety of lively performances. Looking for a mid-week break where you can get away to a serene environment – relax amid a summer breeze while sipping tasty wine – dance and sing along to some classic acoustic tunes, performed by very talented musicians – and enjoy fresh, delicious cuisine from a top notch New Orleans chef? Wine Up Wednesday at DeJon is the answer. It’s a safe destination that you can count on every week, all Summer long. We anticipate cooperative weather, so each event is expected to be held outdoors. You’re welcome to bring your own lawn chairs and outdoor seating. We have a limited amount of our own. However, in case of inclement weather, the show goes on inside the tasting room, where we have plenty of accommodations. These events are from 5-8:30PM and FREE to attend, so bring your friends and family. Full, detailed listings of musicians and food vendors can be found on our ‘Events’ section of our website. Wine Down Fridays are family-friendly. Admission is $5 for anyone over 21 and your first glass of non-premium wine is only $3. Food can be purchased through a caterer.

LUCY, born in autumn 2010, is the fruit of the wishes of three friends to write great songs, bring them to life, and share them. The beauty is that anything can happen, no exceptions, it's all fair game - the love, the pain, the thoughts we hide away. We go where the music takes us, but, at heart, we're just a rock band, enjoying the ride.
