About Our Winery
Windridge Vineyards is a family-owned farm winery dedicated to producing premium estate-grown wines. Situated in Darnestown, Maryland on the Piedmont plateau, our three vineyard sites have been carefully chosen for their unique geology and microclimates. Over 50 years of family farming has guided these selections and underpins our commitment to craft exceptional and distinctive wine.
Come relax on our expansive lawn, in our solar pavilion, or in our new tasting room surrounded by the vines. With a backdrop that includes the 6,300-acre Seneca Creek State Park, the 93,000-acre Agricultural Reserve, and views of the Blue Ridge and Sugarloaf Mountains, Windridge Vineyards is surrounded by breathtaking views and natural beauty.

PETIT VERDOT 2021
- PETIT VERDOT 2021 Red Wine Blend
Petit Verdot is one of the five classic Bordeaux varietals, known for its deep color and rich dark fruit flavors. Our 2021 Petit Verdot is true to style displaying classic blueberry and mulberry aromas with a hint of grilled spices. On the palate, well-integrated tannins mix well with the fruit, giving a layered complexity of flavor and a pleasant lingering finish. This is a special wine for us and one we have wanted to produce for some time. Production is limited to 100 cases.

2017 Seneca Red Blend
- 2017 Seneca Red Blend Red Wine Blend
Named for the Seneca Creek that bisects our vineyard sites, the 2017 Seneca is a blend of 71% Merlot and 29% Petit Verdot. Aged for 18 months in 100% French oak, this full-bodied red exhibits fruit flavors of cherry and blackberry, combined with savory notes of graphite and leather.
