There have been a lot of interesting, and dare we say “exciting,” announcements in the last few weeks. We toasted the beginning of our fourth-annual Maryland Wine Month and announced a brand new, unique event, A Maryland Wine Experience. Unfortunately, the global crisis stemming from the spread of COVID-19 has garnered much attention and has made a significant impact on most of our lives.
Based on the recommendations from the White House, the CDC, and the state government, we at the Maryland Wineries Association have elected to reschedule A Maryland Wine Experience. While we are thrilled to introduce this new, immersive wine event to you, we cannot put our members, our fans, or our community at risk. We appreciate your enthusiasm for this event and look forward to providing you with updates.
Those individuals who have purchased passes to A Maryland Wine Experience will be contacted directly with additional information.
The Maryland Wineries Association appreciates your support of our association’s efforts and Maryland’s wine industry. As we continue to learn more about changes to our daily lives over the next few weeks, we ask that you directly support Maryland wineries by asking for Maryland wine at your local retailer or by visiting a local winery. During this time our members are still able to offer sales to go, and shipment options; your patronage of these businesses will help ensure that we will all get through this together. Thank you.
