The Aardvarks is a duo consisting of Mike Oudemans and Nathan Strong – two friends who met working for the FAA. Mike currently lives in Ellicott City, MD and has lived overseas, gaining cultural and musical inspiration along the way. He currently performs with in the greater DC Metro area. His beautiful lead guitar sound is accompanied by Nathan’s unique percussion style. Nathan lives in Harpers Ferry, WV, and has also lived overseas. He currently plays in the VA-MD-WV tri-state area as both a percussionist and bass player. Mike’s musical tastes include the 80s and 90s, while Nathan is more steeped in the 60s and 70s. They blend their two styles together for a distinctive sound.
