We have about a ton of Cabernet sauvignon for sale from a small northern Maryland vineyard. Vines are about 15 years old and our grapes have been used to produce varietals and in blends in several Maryland wineries. Currently Brix is at 15 and pH is about 3.4. Some darkening of the seeds shows ripening is underway. We hope to harvest on Oct. 6 because of weather impact on quality and loss. Last years price was $2200/ton but a bad year for weather is a good one for negotiation.
