The Maryland Wineries Association, formed in 1984, is the non-profit trade association that represents the 52 wineries in Maryland. The MWA is made up of a board of winery owners – representing every single winery in the state of Maryland. MWA’s mission is to develop and expand the grape and wine industry in Maryland – through education and promotion.

Maryland Comptroller’s Cup Competition 2016
The Maryland Comptroller’s Cup Competition is named after our industry’s chief regulator, Comptroller of Maryland Peter Franchot. The competition is open to all wines produced in Maryland and is held in the spring each year.

Cozy up under the evergreens and settle in for a magical night, including samples of locally crafted beer, wine & spirits, and music by the one and only Caleb Stine!
Located in Ellicott City, the Shrine of St. Anthony is the perfect venue to host a casual, intimate, and elevated tasting experience. Meet dozens of members of the Brewers Association of Maryland, the Maryland Wineries Association, and the Maryland Distillers Guild while sampling and learning about their unique and delicious offerings. All pass holders will receive a commemorative tasting glass.
Grab a blanket and pack your camp chair, make yourself comfortable, and enjoy an evening in Wanderland.
Each of our participating craft beverage producers will be offering products to sample and will be selling full-pours!
