Paul McNeil is a unique guitarist, singer, songwriter with a distinctive style of fingerpicking that is rhythmic, melodic, funky and mellow. He plays a wide variety of music from the 70’s to Today in rock, country, jazz and fingerstyle formats
Lynn Routzahn is one of the most prolific performing songwriter- singer/songwriters in the four state area. He has continuously performed for over 52 years since 1971. His collection of writings is available on YouTube, CD Baby, Amazon music, I-Tunes, and Spotify. One of his songs (“We Are The People”) won honorable mention in the 1994 Washington Area Songwriter’s Association in 1994. The album “RedHawk: A Civil War Journal” was co-written with Ken Postalwait of Seguin Texas and is distributed worldwide on Amazon, I-Tunes, CD Baby etc., and a NEW album is imminent. Lynn recently wrote the official song for the town of Keedysville’s 250th anniversary with a special copy buried in a time capsule by the town . Lynn has performed for over 52 years everywhere from the “Dog Patch” to THE WHITE HOUSE (yes the one at 1600 PA Ave). He has opened for and/or performed with more than a few notable artists (Stella Parton, Jack Green, Bill Anderson, , Molly Hatchet, Holly Dunn, Kim Parent, Chris Knight). His live performance a mix of the best music of all time along with his original material. His incredible vocal ability and unique accomplished guitar style are beautifully presented. Energy and exuberance abound in his performance and the joy he emits is contagious! His performances have been described as “uplifting”, “positive”, and simply a “darn good time”!
East of Antietam is a duo comprised of husband-and-wife team Jim & Robin. Comprised of guitar and rich vocal harmonies they will cover acoustic style classics like James Taylor, Shawn Colvin and Simon & Garfunkel, soulful sounds of Etta James and Eva Cassidy, country classics from Nashville, and more recent sounds of Adele, Over the Rhine, The Weekend, and many more.
Vienna Notarianni is a 19-year-old singer, songwriter, and pianist from Funkstown, Maryland. She is currently majoring in Pop & Commercial Music at Loyola University New Orleans and is in the final stages of recording her debut EP. With a sound reminiscent of influences such as Fiona Apple and Amy Winehouse, Vienna’s songwriting style is unapologetic and centered around raw, honest lyricism and theatrical storytelling.
Denny Spickler is a talented acoustic guitarist who plays an array of enjoyable music. He also performs in the local acoustic duo, Stif Dills. Denny will be playing some original music as well as many favorites for folks who like folk, to name a few, John Prine, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt and many more.
