DrinkMaryland is a summer event showcasing Maryland makers, local producers, artisans, and musicians. The event is free to attend and feels like an open-air market. Tasting passes can be ordered in advance to sample locally-made wine, beer, and spirits.
We return to the beautiful Queen Anne’s County Courthouse Square on June 15. The event is located between Lawyers Row and Broadway in downtown Centreville.
Vendors will operate from 12-5 PM in this location.

Live music with The Howlers
Todd Haines is an acoustic guitarist/vocalist from Williamsport, MD. Lew Palladino is a guitarist/vocalist from Hagerstown, MD who is best known for decades of live performances with The Rhythm Kings. The Howlers style is stripped down to the elemental basics of guitars and mics, and draws on a lifetime of musical influences from classic rock to country to blues and everything in between. A typical performance will feature songs both well-known and obscure, from a range of artists and genres from The Beatles to Zac Brown, with the goal of an ever-expanding set list and musical experience.

Bob Courter is a guitarist and singer. He is currently a member of the band, Prophets of the Abstract Truth, as well as experimental duos. Bob’s solo shows bring an eclectic mix from his years of playing jazz, rock, blues, reggae and country. His stream of consciousness set could include Hank Williams, Bob Marley, The Beatles, Muddy Waters, The Rolling Stones and Frank Sinatra, all done the Bobby C way!

Blending Master Class | SATURDAY, APRIL 6, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Join us for this hands-on seminar will learn about why wine blends are so important to a winemaker’s portfolio. You’ll learn how to create your own Bordeaux blend wine and will take away your own small bottle of a customized wine.

The Grand Tasting at A Maryland Wine Experience features a curated selection of wines that are renowned for their exceptional flavor and quality. We’ll be showcasing varietals that shine in our state, with comparative tastings of the same varietals from other winemaking regions. Wines included in this tasting session include Maryland-made wine and wine styles from abroad.
Learn about the care and consideration that goes into growing and making world-class wines while enjoying live music from the Anders Eliasson Trio. An array of scrumptious heavy appetizers (including Maryland oysters!) is available to attendees of the Grand Tasting.
