Blue Mountain Wine Crafters Boutique Winery in Funkstown recently released a special Maryland Strong Vidal Blanc to recognize the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and to promote and celebrate the strength of Maryland.
Maryland has wilderness, mountains, beaches, close proximity to the nation’s capital, and world-class health care systems and pharmaceutical companies working on vaccines against COVID-19, winery owner Cindy Rowe said.
“We wanted a special label for this time to support Maryland opening again and to take pride in living in Maryland,” she said.
The Maryland Strong label features an image of the state’s flag extended across the geographic shape of the state, and each bottle is sold with a small Maryland flag…
