New Market Plains Vineyards is located on the former estate of Nicholas Hall, Sr., the co-founder of New Market, MD. Our farm has remained in the family since the 1760s. Planted varieties include Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Muscat Blanc, Petit Verdot and Syrah.

2014 Rich Forest Chardonnay: 2014 Rich Forest Chardonnay White Wine
Estate grown and produced on our 11th generation farm.
First harvest from two year old vines. Fermented and aged sur lie in french oak puncheons and russian oak barrels.
Honeysuckle, vanilla nose. Crisp Granny Smith apple and pear notes with a nuance of oak on the finish.
2016 Muscat Blanc: 2016 Muscat Blanc White Wine
Estate grown and produced on our 11th generation farm.
100% varietal. Big aromatic open: Mango, pineapple, violets....
The fruit flavors continue to fill your mouth and linger with a dry grapefruit finish.
2015 Rosé: 2015 Rosé Rose Wine
Estate grown and produced on our 11th generation farm.
A blend of five red bleeds; Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah, and Petit Verdot.
Dark ripe cherry and gingerbread upfront. Tart berry flavors with tannic overtones through the finish.
2015 Hogshead Red: 2015 Hogshead Red Red Wine Blend
Our first red blend. 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Syrah, and 15% Merlot.
Aged 26 months in two year old french oak barrels.
Aromas of Dark supple fruit with vanilla. Subtle flavors of nutmeg charcoal and eucalyptus. Soft tannins throughout.
