This rich, complex wine is made exclusively from new plantings of Chardonnay at our South Mountain Vineyard. Aged in one and two year French oak barrels for five months, the Chardonnay Reserve shows initial notes of pineapple, grapefruit and lime; then opening up to aromas of apricot and kiwi after some time in the glass. Balanced acidity with citrus flavors and a long, creamy finish.
Reminiscent of the classic rosés of Provence. Delicate aromas of rose petals and fresh cherries with a dry finish make this a versatile dinner wine.

South Mountain Red is grown in our vineyards on the rocky slope of South Mountain, which forms part of the Blue Ridge that bisects Maryland west of Frederick. Made with grapes harvested from the same vineyard blocks that produce our reserve reds, South Mountain Red is vinified and bottled earlier to emphasize its fresh, fruit forward quality. South Mountain Red is a smooth, easy drinking blend with the aromatic allure and freshness of a country bistro wine.
A medium-bodied wine aged for fourteen months in French oak, Lost Order boasts aromas of vanilla, cherries and bright red fruits, with a lively acidity and subtle notes of earth and spice on the finish.
A blend of 45% cabernet sauvignon, 28% merlot, 14% petit verdot and 13% syrah. Hand harvested and sorted, tank fermented and aged in French oak for fourteen months. Lost order No. 191 is a tribute to the history of the land that is home to our South Mountain Vineyard.

2014 was an exceptional vintage marked by warm days, cool nights and abundant sunshine. Low humidity and below average rainfall throughout the growing season allowed our crews to keep pace with the vines from bud break to harvest. Fruit was hand-picked between October 15 - 21, hand-sorted, cold soaked and left on the skins after fermentation for 30 days before being pressed and transferred to barrels for aging.
This full-bodied wine is a blend of the five red varieties that are meticulously grown at our South Mountain Vineyards. Landmark Reserve has been aged in French oak barrels for eighteen months. It boasts aromas of dark cherry, cocoa and tobacco leaf, with a silky, nutty finish.
The 2013 vintage was well-suited for ripening red grapes at our South Mountain vineyard. These conditions favored excellent flavor development of the four grape varieties that make up Boordy’s Landmark Reserve: 59% cabernet sauvignon, 22% merlot, 7% cabernet franc, 7% syrah and 5% petit verdot. Each lot of grapes is hand harvested, painstakingly sorted at the crush pad, fermented individually, and then blended from the best barrels. We use the Reserve designation sparingly at Boordy, so when it appears it signifies a wine worth seeking out. Cellaring is recommended for up to 10 years from the vintage date.
